There Are Only Two Types Of Sales Letter - The Ones That Work And...The Ones That Don't

Hello,

When you came looking for a sales letter, what did you expect to find?

A template site packed full of pre-written sales letters that you could download, use and make sales as if by magic?

Or were you looking for a custom written sales letter by someone who has been successfully persuading people to buy online and offline for many years?

You know that only one of these options works, don't you?

You know, in your heart of hearts, that if you pay a few Pounds for a zip file containing a hundred sales letters,  that you are never, not in a million years, ever going to make a single sale.

What about writing for the Internet?

There are TONS of books, download products and courses that you can download and each one will cost you well over £100 (I know, because I've personally paid £700 for one copywriting download) and you still have to do all of the work yourself.

Professional copywriters charge thousands of Pounds for great copy.

How much would you pay to get the job done right?

If your answer was less than £500, you are in the wrong place and you need to find an alternative site.

If your answer was less than £1000, you still need to try elsewhere.

If your answer was £10,000, you are still way off track.

The correct answer is of course, whatever the letter is worth on an ongoing basis to your company in terms of increased sales.

You see, I won't write a letter that is going to bring in £1million in revenues for less than £10,000. I'll probably want a share of the revenues too, particularly if it's for an Internet product launch.

Similarly, I won't ask you for £100 for a sales letter that is unlikely to generate £1000. I won't even take the job.

It's all about expectations. It's about knowing your market.

This page for example, is a sales letter.

If you are still reading after learning what it could cost you, then it's done its job and you are beginning to understand the value of good copy.

You see, template and form letters can't communicate what your business really needs.

Some writers don't understand business. They certainly don't know your business. They should know how to ask the right questions though.

Most don't. That's the problem.

Ask yourself, if you went to to a hairdressers and the hairdresser asked you, "How do you want your hairtoday, long or short"? and then started cutting, you'd be pretty scared wouldn't you?

Yet that is about the level of questioning that you're likely to get from most writers!

Do you want to trust your sales to somebody like that?

Just the preliminary discussion with me will take at least one hour, but I'll tell you in the first 10 minutes whether we can work together and it's got nothing to do with price.

Your prospects have to be accurately identified and it's only then that can they be sold to.

For example, I know that the only people interested in this sales letter are those who are:

1) Curious to learn how anyone can charge thousands of Pounds for a sales letter or

2) They need something so persuasive that they will pay the price, whatever it costs

For the benefit of doubt, I don't teach, so my ideal prospect is profile number 2.

If you are not a profile 2, please leave now, because from here on, things could get really expensive.

If you are a profile 2, I want you to do something for me if you don't mind.

I'd like you to pick up the telephone and call me on 0701 741 6460

You see, as much as I want to use this web page to sell you the concept of using my services, which I limit to only a few clients at a time, I know that I can't convince you unless I get to speak to you in person.

As we don't know each other and I don't cold-call, the only option is for you to contact me.

So would you do that please? the number again is 0701 741 6460 - it's the only way we are ever going to get to talk.

I can't wait to tell you what my sales letter could do for your business, especially if you need it for a web based product launch.

Let's face it, who reads real letters these days?

I look forward to hearing from you.
